How my cat drove me crazy (but he’s cute)….

What’s Up…

I don’t know what got into my cat the other night, but all he
wanted to do was play. He wouldn’t let me sleep. I even tried
slinky my cathiding his toys, but he just found other things to play with.

Then I locked him out of my room… bad move. He cried at the top of his lungs and proceeded to bang on the door.

I yelled at him ‘cut it out’ and he just jumped up on the bed, looked at me with his oh, so cute face and kissed my nose.

Now how do you get mad at that? I sure hope this was a one night thing! Here is a picture of my cute cat Slinky

Now for today’s video. These puppies are so adorable! It’s funny to see such a large guy putting his baby dogs to sleep with a deep voice. This is definately a precious video!

BEDTIME PUPPIES…
Current Rating: 4.1

Watching this very cute video you’ll see that puppies
aren’t so different from babies. A little bedtime lullaby
is all they need to settle down. Note how most of them just
snuggle up to each other in the corner.

My 14-year old tabby follows me through the house like a puppy. Apparently she thinks I need her help in every–and I mean EVERY–room of the house. I would never attempt to lock her out of a room, because the carpet near the door would get torn to pieces. And when I lie down to sleep, I lie on my side and she curls into the circle made by my arm.

When my red tabby, Manny, was a kitten he found a new way to wake me up. I usually get up around 6:30 AM to get ready for work during the week but like to sleep in on weekends. Cats don’t seem to understand the weekend concept and early Saturday morning, Manny was in my face trying to get me up. I ignored the meowing, the padding of my arm, the attempts to dig me out of the blankets – even the licking of my eyelids (yuck!). Just when I thought he’d given up I feel him walking over my head on the pillow. He sniffed my head and cried some more. When I ignored that, he grabbed a hunk of my hair right at the part and gave it a yank! That’ll wake anyone up! I shot straight up and he took off down the hall. I got up then, fed him and went back to bed. That’s all he wanted – food. He left me alone for the rest of the morning.

Several years ago on Mother’s Day morning a stray cat and her 5 kittens were found in a window well of our home. My husband did not care for animals and insisted that they remain only until grown enough to give them away. One evening he found the Mama cat foaming at the mouth and crawling on her tummy to get back to her kittens, apparently having been hit by a car. That evening he decided she had a home if she lived which she did survive. Gradually he began to enjoy her kittens and chose 2 of them to keep also while our daughter took the rest. Who would have believe that a man who did not care for pets would find such comfort from them during his two year battle with cancer when they sat on his lap on laid by his side. Mama Sophie, Tiger and Trouble gave him comfort when his doctor, the pain medicines and myself could do no more. They stayed near him until he died in our home and then grieved for weeks. Yes, animals do grieve which I had never experienced before. They have finally excepted me and now drive me crazy wanting outside then inside, meowing for me to sit down and hold them as he did. I wonder if they would miss me as much!!!!!
